Step into a precision-first fabrication role
Picture your day: you pull a fresh set of blueprints, translate GD&T into accurate layouts, square up your fixtures, and run clean, consistent TIG and MIG beads. You verify dimensions, blend with a manual grinder, and switch to stick or flux-cored when the job calls for it. Safety is second nature, quality is your signature, and when urgent work hits, you’re ready to stay and finish strong.
Role snapshot- Long-term, permanent position with full benefits
- Compensation: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, or more, DOE
- Hands-on fabrication with TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW)
- Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T to execute precise layouts
- Perform TIG/MIG welding on a variety of materials and thicknesses
- Fit, tack, and assemble components to spec; verify with basic shop math
- Use grinders and related tools to finish parts to quality standards
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot fit-up and distortion
- Uphold rigorous safety practices; be ready for overtime on short notice
- Minimum 5 years of recent fabrication TIG/MIG welding experience
- Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T
- Basic shop math skills and strong layout fabrication experience
- Proven record of predictable and punctual attendance
- Ownership of basic tools
- Ability to pass a TIG/MIG welding test
- Willingness to work overtime on short notice
