Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiologist (Locum Coverage)

Our organization is currently in search of an Interventional Radiologist to provide locum coverage in Minnesota. Below are the key details regarding this position:

• Engage in Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures, with an expected focus of 80-90% on IR tasks.
• Perform a variety of IR procedures, including but not limited to:
  • Angiography
  • Angioplasty
  • Embolization
  • G-Tube placement
  • IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound)
  • Stent placement
  • Foreign body removal
  • Needle biopsy
  • IVC filter placement
  • Thrombolysis
  • Catheter placement / Central venous access
  • Some interventional oncology procedures
• Allocate approximately 10-20% of your time to imaging tasks between procedures.
• Indicate your comfort level with reading various imaging modalities such as CT, ultrasound, plain films, and/or MRI.
• Availability for multiple weeks each month on an ongoing basis.
• Provide coverage Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, with no on-call duties.
• Communicate your start date and availability for this role.

• Board certification in Interventional Radiology.
• Active medical license in Minnesota or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong skills in performing a wide range of interventional procedures.
• Experience in reading various imaging modalities is preferred.
