Terminal Manager

Terminal Manager (Open) Location: New Carlisle, IN (AMG) – Bulk cryo logistics. Responsibilities The Terminal Manager is directly responsible for local safety management, driver recruiting and staffing, vehicle maintenance, and the overall efficient, effective cost management of the operation while complying with all regulatory agencies including DOT, OSHA, and FDA requirements at the facility, and supporting a 24/7 operation with staffing working around the clock. Supervise, train, and evaluate the performance of direct reports, including bulk drivers, mechanics, and office staff. Supervise rolling stock maintenance and control expenses through proper scheduling of preventative maintenance and coordination with third‑party vendors. Accountably recruit and retain drivers to ensure sufficient staffing levels and customer service excellence. Promote and develop safe work behaviors and coaching to reduce injuries and accidents; conduct required monthly safety meetings and accident investigations. Develop and maintain a sustainable audit process for driver files, vehicle maintenance records, and shipping papers to ensure regulatory compliance. Ensure DOT Hours of Service compliance for all drivers at assigned terminals. Drive continuous improvement across safety, customer service, and efficiency KPIs while ensuring maximum utilization of vehicles and equipment. Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 4–6 years of operations management experience supervising a staff (in lieu of a degree). 3+ years of distribution or logistics experience. Must currently hold a valid US Driver’s License. Proficiency in Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) and the ability to maintain electronic files. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in a related field strongly preferred. 5+ years of operations management experience supervising a staff. Previous experience in the industrial and/or specialty gas business. Experience with bulk transportation and fleet maintenance. Strong mathematical abilities and knowledge of DOT/FDA regulatory requirements. Benefits Medical, dental, and vision plans.
