Certified Welder Opportunity

Great opportunity for certified welders with entry-level experience! Building custom trailers for boats, by MIG welding parts together that are made of aluminum and steel. The right candidate will need to have at least a year of experience and be able to pass a welding test.

Pay rate will depend on experience.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am till 3:45pm. You will also be provided with 2-10 minutes break and a 30 minute lunch.

This is a temp to perm position. You will be required to wear steel toe shoes for safety purposes.

Duties

1. Develops welding projects by analyzing work orders, prints, and completed assembly; calculating requirements; studying metals; determining appropriate welding techniques.
2. Collects equipment and materials by studying specifications and component requirements; ordering supplies and gases.
3. Fabricates components by using equipment to clean, prepare, cut, burn, and weld pieces; setting-up and measuring assemblies; selecting appropriate method.
4. Verifies welding results by inspecting and testing welds.
5. Documents actions by completing records.
6. Maintains safe work environment by following procedures; complying with legal regulations.
7. Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
8. Accomplishes manufacturing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
