Seeking Housekeepers for The Guest House Properties.

Come join our team in the Guest House Properties in the beautiful historic district of Hinton, WV.  The properties include guest houses, office space, conference and event spaces, and a cabin.  We strive for excellence for our customers and want motivated people to deliver quality cleaning and excellent customer service.

Perform any combination of light cleaning duties to maintain private households and commercial establishments, such as hotels and office spaces, in a clean and orderly manner.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, making beds, and replenishing linens in various locations (offices, guest rooms, and event spaces).
• Assist with event set-up and breakdown in conference and event spaces.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies.
• Notify Supervisor of any damages, deficits, and/or disturbances.
• Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of company-related practices.
• Perform light gardening activities in the spring, summer, and fall, such as weeding flower beds, deadheading, and watering.
• Assist with seasonal decorating.

Qualified applicants should be able to:

• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal communications
• Have experience using email, calendar scheduling, MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Use mapping tools, such as Google Maps, and provide directions to guests
• Be customer-oriented, and friendly in person and over the phone
• Work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• Work quickly without compromising quality
• Prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Have a neat and professional appearance
