Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a New York license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Centralus Health (Direct) and no current placement allowed at Program: Centralus Health (Direct).

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Centralus Health (Direct) and no current placement allowed at Program: Centralus Health (Direct).

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Centralus Health (Direct) and no current placement allowed at Program: Centralus Health (Direct).

Additional Details:

Special Requests: Current employees: We cannot consider travelers employed (FT, PT, or per diem) by Cayuga Health or its affiliate, Schuyler Hospital within the past 12 months.

Required Credentials: BLS and ACLS must not expire while on assignment. Centralus Core Competency Exam required; must score 80% or higher. Rhythm Interpretation Exam required. Pharmacology Exam required.

Unit Details: Bedside patient care position. 1:5 patient ratio (1:6 during surg staffing) with nursing assistant support. Additional support from lightly assigned charge nurse (1:2 patient ratio).

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
