Maintenance Lead

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Two Saturdays per month, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Employment Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $21.75 - $24.75 per hour + Overtime

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead to oversee facility maintenance operations while supporting warehouse activities and maintaining a safe, efficient work environment. This role is responsible for building repairs, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, coordinating facility projects, supervising warehouse personnel, and ensuring the overall upkeep of the facility.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, experience in building maintenance, leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining high safety standards.

• $21.75 - $24.75 per hour
• Overtime paid at 1.5x regular rate
• Annual earnings typically range from $54,400 - $71,000+ , depending on experience, overtime, and bonus opportunities

Key Responsibilities

• Perform minor and major building maintenance repairs
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing systems
• Complete carpentry, plastering, painting, and flooring repairs
• Support facility remodeling, installations, and demolition projects
• Maintain HVAC systems and building infrastructure
• Conduct preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Complete equipment maintenance checklists and documentation
• Maintain facility cleanliness and housekeeping standards
• Assist with warehouse operations and supervise team members as needed
• Estimate project timelines and coordinate resources for efficient completion
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications Required

• 7-10 years of maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED
• HVAC experience
• Plumbing experience
• Framing and construction experience
• Technical certification
• Forklift operation experience
• Warehouse experience
• Welding experience
• Computer or tablet proficiency
• Bilingual Spanish
• Ability to travel as needed

Physical Requirements

• Regular standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting
• Ability to lift, pull, and move up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 70 pounds occasionally
• Ability to perform physical maintenance activities throughout the facility
• Close vision and attention to detail required
• Safety-sensitive position
