Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg Tele

RN – Cardiac Telemetry

Shift: Nights - Patient Ratio: 1:5 (may take up to 6 patients) - Weekends: Required as needed

Minimum 1 year RN experience

Valid RN license (OK or Compact) required at time of submission

BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required at submission

Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation

Proficient in managing non-titratable cardiac drips (Cardizem, Dobutamine, Milrinone, Amiodarone)

Familiarity with diuretics, anticoagulants, inotropes, and rate-controlling agents

Central and peripheral line care experience

Participation in Rapid Response/Code teams is required

Experience with EPIC charting preferred

Monitor telemetry and assess cardiac patients, providing appropriate care.

Manage and administer cardiac medications as per protocols.

Provide central and peripheral line care as needed.

Participate in rapid response and code teams.

Ensure accurate documentation in patient records.

Required time off (RTO) must be listed at the time of submission.

Orientation includes completion of RN modules (approximately 4–6 hours).
