Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring an active IA or compact RN license and at least 1-2 years of ICU experience.

Details

• Work in the ICU/Rehab Unit of a regional health center
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week assignment length
• Every other weekend required
• Monday or Tuesday start dates accommodated

Requirements

• Active RN license (Iowa or Compact) currently in hand
• AHA certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required, though 1 year with travel experience may be considered
• Iowa SING background check required, including both criminal and child abuse portions, with no exceptions
• All background checks (county and state level) must be fully cleared prior to start; instant or statewide-only searches not accepted
• Mandatory reporter certification required (both Child and Adult)
• 10-panel drug screening required, including opiates
• Titers required within the last 12 months for MMR, Hep B, Varicella, and TB
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services within an acute rehabilitation and ICU setting
• Facility offers a wide range of services including emergency medicine, critical care, medical/surgical, obstetrics, pediatrics, and specialty services such as cardiac catheterization and wound care
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
• First-time travelers with qualifying experience may be considered
