Job Details:

• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications: 24 months of current/recent Emergency Room (ER) experience; recent travel ER experience; active Iowa or multi-state compact license; certifications including BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course), De-Escalation Certificate (SAMA, MAB, MOAB, CPI) document preferred; NIH Stroke Scale certificate nice to have.
• Preferred Qualifications: Active American Heart Association or ARC (American Red Cross) certifications; recent performance references within 24 months.
• Additional Information: Must have all active certifications; immunities to work holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed; orientation dates are June 22 and June 29; emergency department patient nurse ratio of 1:5; critical drips given; navy, black, or gray scrubs; 24 months of current ER experience required; recent travel experience required.
• Submission Requirements: Resume or employment history verifying 24 months of ER experience; professional references from within the past 24 months; valid drivers license; active certifications; Iowa or multi-state license.
