Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Auburn, NY. This critical role involves providing care in a fast-paced emergency department, requiring the ability to interpret and manage heart rhythm changes, administer blood products, and more. Candidates must have strong clinical skills and the flexibility to work every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities of the ER Registered Nurse (RN)

• Interpret and manage heart rhythm changes (dysrhythmias)
• Care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues
• Administer blood products
• Manage central lines
• Start and maintain IVs
• Administer IV sedation and vasopressors
• Care for stroke (CVA) patients
• Care for ventilated patients
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Follow isolation precautions
• Perform triage

Requirements of the ER Registered Nurse (RN)

• Active state nursing license required (NY or compact)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience; 2 years of recent ER experience required
