Role Description: The Foreman role is a full-time, on-site position based in Martinez, CA. The Foreman oversees daily tree service operations, including coordinating crews, assigning tasks, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications. This role includes supervising the use of heavy equipment, monitoring job site safety, and maintaining compliance with company procedures and local regulations. The Foreman is responsible for communicating clearly with team members and customers, reviewing job requirements, and resolving on-site issues. Daily tasks may also involve basic carpentry and maintenance activities related to equipment, tools, and job site setup, as well as documenting work performed and reporting progress to management. Qualifications Strong supervisory skills with experience leading crews, delegating tasks, and promoting a safety-focused work culture. Hands-on experience operating or managing heavy equipment commonly used in tree service or construction environments. Effective communication skills for coordinating team activities, interacting with customers, and reporting to management. Basic carpentry and general maintenance skills to support job site setup, equipment care, and project completion. Knowledge of tree care, arboriculture practices, or related field work is highly beneficial. Understanding of OSHA and job site safety standards, including use of PPE and safe equipment operation. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks, including lifting and climbing as required. Valid driver’s license; commercial driving experience or CDL is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or trade training in arboriculture or related fields is an advantage. #J-18808-Ljbffr
