About the Position

Job Title: CVOR Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 5 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: - Must be able to perform open vascular, endovascular, hybrid room, and cardiovascular procedures. - Call required: Post Shift 1700-0700, Weekend 24HR 0700-0700. - At least 1 weekend per month and 1 post shift per week. Description: The position requires a CVOR Registered Nurse with significant experience in cardiovascular operating room settings. Scheduling is Monday through Friday with one day off, which may vary weekly. Weekend call is required, as detailed above. Candidates must be proficient in multiple cardiovascular surgical procedures. First-time travelers are welcome if they meet the experience requirements. Preferred scheduling requests will be considered but are not guaranteed. No requests for time off due to additional employment will be accepted. The patient ratio is 1:1. Skills and experience in various surgical techniques and emergency procedures are vital. Daily patient demographics include adults and geriatrics. This position involves interdisciplinary support and specialized equipment usage specific to cardiovascular care. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking and adaptation skills in high-stakes environments.
