Account Executive - Emerging Markets

Our Account Executive team - Emerging Markets is focused on bringing the DoorDash experience to communities across the U.S., especially those in fast-growing, underrepresented, or untapped emerging markets. This role leverages inside tactics to grow DoorDash's presence in rural or developing territories, driving economic opportunity and accelerating local partnerships for one of the company's top priorities.

We are looking for an Account Executive to join our expanding Inside Sales team. As an Account Executive Emerging Markets, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing new SMB restaurant partners in new or lightly-penetrated geographies. You will own the complete sales process from start to finish while operating in a transactional deal cycle, leading the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. In this role, you will creatively engage with prospects while achieving metrics. This is a high-impact, strategic role that sits at the intersection of sales, market expansion, and economic development.

You will report to the Inside Sales Manager and work cross-functionally with expansion, operations, and marketing teams to inform localized strategies for success. You will need the ability to travel as needed for in-person collaboration through training, offsites, team-building events, and other business-related necessities.

Compensation

Actual compensation within the pay range listed below will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, skills, prior relevant experience, and specific work location. Base salary is localized according to employee work location.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants and sales commission. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

• For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
• For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.

$18.98 - $27.95 USD

The total on-target earnings (base + commissions) for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.

$29.80 - $50 USD
