Software Tester

Software TesterCandidate must be located in DMV area and able to commute to Stafford, VA office!!! Candidate Must hold Active Secret Clearance!!! The Software Tester will support the program with hands-on test development and execution experience implementing automated testing and integration into Gitlab pipelines. This tester is responsible for expanding, improving, and maintaining our test automation framework, and supporting our client with expansion of their test automation framework. This tester should be self-starting and proactive; they are expected to serve as a trusted resource on the business logic in place as well as our system architecture. They are expected to work collaboratively, with minimal supervision, on teams including DevOps Engineers and Developers to ensure our application meets users' needs, as well as business requirements and scalability characteristics. Each team member is expected to be cross-functional and take collective ownership to ensure deliverables are met and superb quality is achieved.Required SkillsMust hold Active Secret clearanceMinimum 5 years of automation testing experienceExperience with test suite development and maintenanceExperience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Appium, Robot, Cucumber, etc.Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter, K6, Loadrunner, etc.Experience writing automated tests for web front ends, web services, APIs, and databasesExperience with manual testingExperience with integration testingExperience cross-browser/cross-platform testingExperience working as part of an agile team using SAFe, Scrum, XP and/or KanbanGeneration and maintenance of controlled test datasets and scenariosDesire to work in a collaborative environmentQuality and Detail-orientatedTeam player who works well with customers and colleagues at all levels.Ability to lead and manage a team of testers, providing clear guidance and mentorshipExperience with Git version control and collaborative development workflowsStrong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills for determining automation test failuresDesired SkillsExperience working with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelinesExperience providing technical leadership – understands overall architecture, understands software engineering and testing best practicesExperience with testing tools such as Xray, TestRail, or ZephyrSecurity testing experience a plusSelf-motivated, quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with SPA web applications such as Angular, React, or BlazorExperience with Cloud-native web-based applications hosted in Azure or AWSIf you are interested in getting more information about this opportunity, please contact Irina Rozenberg View email address on click.appcast.io at your earliest convenience.
