JOB TITLE : Maintenance Supervisor – 3rd Shift

JOB TYPE : Direct-Hire

LOCATION : Yonkers, NY – Onsite

START DATE : October/November 2026

SHIFT : Sunday–Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:30 AM

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team responsible for maintaining production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position will focus on equipment reliability, planned maintenance, troubleshooting, team leadership, and continuous improvement while supporting safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct maintenance technicians responsible for production and packaging equipment.
\n
• Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
\n
• Guide equipment troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and repair activities.
\n
• Prioritize maintenance work based on production needs, equipment condition, and scheduled maintenance requirements.
\n
• Ensure maintenance work is completed in accordance with applicable safety, quality, and documentation standards.
\n
• Use maintenance management systems to coordinate work orders, schedules, equipment history, and planned maintenance.
\n
• Coach, train, and develop maintenance personnel while supporting performance management and accountability.
\n
• Identify and implement practical improvements to maintenance processes, equipment performance, and overall operations.
\n

Qualifications

\n
• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience with responsibility for leading or supervising maintenance personnel; strong lead-level candidates performing comparable supervisory duties may be considered.
\n
• Strong experience maintaining and troubleshooting production and/or packaging equipment.
\n
• Demonstrated experience managing preventive maintenance programs and working with a CMMS.
\n
• Experience supporting predictive maintenance activities and equipment reliability initiatives.
\n
• Working knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment with the ability to oversee and understand troubleshooting activities; programming expertise is not required.
\n
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and support mechanical and equipment troubleshooting.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to identify root causes, solve equipment problems, and implement process improvements.
\n
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to direct, develop, and hold technical teams accountable.
