Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience in school-based settings, particularly with high school students
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and compliance
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to effectively manage a diverse caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to high school students, both individually and in groups
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals specific to speech and language needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, counselors, families, and other school staff
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports according to school and state guidelines
- Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the student support team
