Data Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Data Architect for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX/Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate must be able to independently investigate failures, analyze logs, perform root cause analysis, and deliver actionable defect reports to engineering teams.


Rate Range: $56/Hour to $57/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.


Data Architect Job Responsibilities include:

• Execute end-to-end (E2E) testing across devices, backend services, data pipelines, browser UI, and integrated systems to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Validate new device features and server-side platform enhancements by developing, maintaining, and executing comprehensive test scenarios.
• Investigate test failures, perform root cause analysis, and independently triage issues across devices, backend services, and data workflows.
• Analyze application logs, system telemetry, and diagnostic data to identify defects and determine probable points of failure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams by providing detailed defect reports, reproduction steps, and supporting technical diagnostics for faster issue resolution.
• Support validation of cross-system integrations involving devices, databases, backend platforms, and data pipelines while leveraging automation frameworks and testing tools.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8-10 years of experience in software testing, quality engineering, automation, or data platform validation within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and Java, including test automation, debugging, log analysis, and working with device automation frameworks such as XCUI.
• Proven expertise in E2E testing and distributed systems validation, including backend services, data pipelines, databases, and system integrations.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $57.00 per hour
