This unit features a maximum of 343 beds. Patient ratios are maintained at 1:1. The unit is equipped with various surgical and procedural equipment. Documentation is maintained through a specific system. Staff positions include unit secretaries and tech availability. The unit performs various procedures, including: - Abdominal surgery, including complex hernia repairs - Breast and cardiovascular surgeries - Colon/rectal and dental procedures - Ear, nose, and throat surgeries - Gastroenterology procedures - General surgeries - Gynecological surgeries - Joint replacements, including knee and hip - Client-fetal surgeries - Neurosurgery - Ophthalmology - Oral/maxillofacial surgeries - Orthopedic, sports medicine, and robotics surgeries - Pediatric surgeries - Plastic and reconstructive surgeries - Spine surgeries - Thoracic procedures - Trauma surgeries - Urological surgeries - Vascular surgeries This unit is recognized as a designated trauma center. It is equipped to treat life-threatening injuries 24/7. New graduates are welcome to apply. Schedule options include 8-hour, 10-hour, and 12-hour shifts based on availability.
