JOB OVERVIEW Job Id: H-MD-134237 Profession: Physician Specialty: Cardiology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Murrells Inlet, South Carolina Coverage Period: Nov 09, 2026 - Ongoing Reason for Coverage: Backfill FTE Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered PATIENT INFORMATION Average Daily Volume: 90-100 inpatients per day Case Mix: General cardiology consults, inpatient rounding, TEE, cardioversions, stress testing Rounding: Included FACILITY INFORMATION EMR System: EPIC Specialty Backup Available: Interventional Cardiology backup for STEMI PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes REQUIRED PROCEDURES TEE Cardioversions Supervise Stress Tests JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: BC/BE in Cardiology (ABIM) DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide general cardiology consultations for inpatients and outpatients. Round on inpatients at Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital. Perform TEE, cardioversions, and supervise stress tests. Take call during the seven-day coverage period (including night and weekend call at Georgetown). Prioritize stress testing at TGMH on Saturday and Sunday AM.
