Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (11:30–22:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative care for both inpatient and outpatient populations across a broad range of surgical specialties including general surgery, ENT, OB-GYN, plastics, thoracic, vascular, robotic, and transplant
• Deliver Phase I and Phase II post-anesthesia recovery care, including patient discharge planning and educationFloat between Pre-Op and PACU units as needed to support patient care demands
• Administer and monitor breathing treatments, CPAP, and BiPAP therapy as indicated
• Support pre-operative preparation for cath lab vascular procedures and endoscopy cases as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of PACU or perioperative nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Current PALS certification required
• Willingness and ability to float between Pre-Op and PACU

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple surgical specialties including thoracic, vascular, robotic, and transplant procedures
• Familiarity with Phase II recovery and patient discharge processes in an outpatient surgical setting
• Prior experience with endoscopy or cath lab pre-operative preparation
