Assemblies include parts from sheet metal, wiring, and other components.Job SummaryFollowing manufacturing instructions, diagrams and drawings, as well as, verbal instruction using a basic array of hand tools, including wire strippers, crimpers, torque wrenches, multi-meters, microscopes, soldering, and/or brazing equipmentDisassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test prototype and production released assemblies and subassemblies according to instructions and specificationsVariety of assembly operations on complex units or sub-units of precision production parts and components involving precision fittings and tolerancesAssembly of tools according to their specifications and instructions including using test instruments for calibration and advanced adjustmentsIdentify defective items and handle them according to established proceduresMaintain equipment in good condition and check for calibration due datesReport on issues, malfunction, defective part, or defective equipmentTest finished products for defectsPerform in-process visual inspections, dimensional inspections and cosmetic final clean upMust be able to lift up to 25lbs.Education/Previous ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent education0-2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environmentThe above information on this description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performance by employees within this classification.
