Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum

Nights 7 PM to 7 AM, every 3rd weekend. Required to work Labor & Delivery and Postpartum on a rotational basis.

Bill Rate: $90 (local) / $100 (traveler).

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Current licensure by the state Board of Nursing.

At least 3 years of experience working in OB, Postpartum, and/or Labor & Delivery.

BLS certification (Required).

NRP certification (Required).

STABLE certification (Required).

Conduct comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments of patients.

Participate in establishing and communicating a collaborative plan of care.

Implement and evaluate the plan of care, modifying as needed based on patient status.

Document all care according to established standards.

Assess patients' readiness to learn and implement individualized education plans.

Engage in nursing department and unit-based initiatives.

Provide age-appropriate care based on specific population needs.

Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and professional standards.

On-call requirements: if staff are low, they will be considered on-call for the remainder of the shift and must arrive within 30 minutes if called in.
