Job Summary

The Logistics Technician is responsible for the critical handling and transportation of semiconductor materials (FOUPs/FOSBs) between the fabrication floor and the T1 AE TEM rack. This role acts as the primary logistics link to ensure that high-priority samples for failure analysis and tool qualification are delivered with 100% accuracy and zero contamination.

The position requires strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the ability to execute special manual transactions in the tracking system with high precision. Works under moderate supervision but is expected to exercise judgment regarding material priority and urgency.

Job Description

• Special Material Transactions: Execute precise manual system transactions for FOUP/FOSB movement to ensure real-time, accurate tracking of samples.
• Critical Lab Delivery: Coordinate and perform the physical delivery of high-priority samples to the T1 AE TEM lab, ensuring adherence to strict delivery windows.
• SOP Compliance: Strictly follow manual loading/unloading procedures for scan and review platforms to prevent wafer damage or contamination.
• Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with AE, FE, and MFG teams to manage "Hot Lot" requests and prioritize urgent sample deliveries.
• Equipment Handling: Safely operate material transport tools and navigate the fab environment efficiently.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of delivered samples and report any transaction discrepancies immediately to the lead engineer.

Skills Required

• 0–4 years of experience in a semiconductor fab or cleanroom environment.
• Precision & Accuracy: Ability to perform repetitive manual transactions without error; high attention to detail regarding lot IDs and sample labels.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and move frequently throughout the fab/lab environment.
• Material Handling: Ability to safely move and transport FOUPs/FOSBs (typically under 15-20 lbs).
• Communication: Ability to exchange information accurately and professionally with engineers and fab operators.
• Technical Aptitude: Basic computer proficiency to navigate material tracking systems and reports.
• Reliability: Ability to work independently and follow rigid SOPs without direct constant supervision.
• Stress Management: Ability to remain poised and efficient in high-pressure, time-sensitive situations.

Education/Training/Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in cleanroom safety/handling is a plus.

• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

Pay rate

• $25-30 per hour, based on experience, skills, and market factors
