Locums Interventional Cardiology Springfield, MO (MO License or IMLC) Why This Role Defined November and December STEMI call dates In-house call with cath lab and inpatient coverage Ongoing need authorized through June 2027 Epic EMR Multiple providers may be considered Assignment Details Start Date: November 23, 2026 End Date: Ongoing; currently authorized through June 30, 2027 Coverage Type: 16-hour in-house call Current Dates Needed: - November 23 Äì25 and 27 Äì29, 2026 - December 14, 18 Äì20, 23, 28, and 31, 2026 Setting: Inpatient and cardiac catheterization lab Call Ratio: Approximately 1:5 Call Scope: STEMI call, cath lab procedures, inpatient consults, and rounding Callback Activity: Approximately 58% Phone Consults: Approximately 20 Trauma Designation: Level I EMR: Epic Credentialing: Approximately 90 days Temporary Privileges: Unavailable Requirements Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Interventional Cardiologist Fellowship-trained in Interventional Cardiology Active Missouri license or IMLC eligibility Current ACLS and BLS Availability for the listed coverage dates Current STEMI and cardiac catheterization experience Ability to provide inpatient consultations and rounding Ability to respond within 30 minutes Clinical Details Provide 16-hour in-house Interventional Cardiology coverage Manage STEMI activations and urgent cardiac consultations Perform cardiac catheterization procedures Round on assigned inpatients Collaborate with a large cardiovascular team, including physicians, APPs, RNs, and MAs No admissions, APP supervision, resident supervision, or teaching responsibilities
