Assembly Associate

General Production Worker's Needed 1st & 2nd Shift $18/hr!

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as General Production Workers. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling components according to work instructions, loading and unloading tanks from paint systems, operating both manual and automated hand tools, and setting up and operating production equipment. You will play a crucial part in maintaining our safety, quality, and work standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components following detailed work instructions.
• Load and unload tanks from paint systems efficiently.
• Operate both manual and automated hand tools.
• Set up and operate various production equipment.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and work standards at all times.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in assembly and general labor tasks.
• Experience in construction, general production, and assembly line work.
• Skillful in machine operation and using hand tools.
• Mechanical assembly and power tool operation.
• Proficient in using a tape measure and operating a forklift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preferred: 6 months of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift, with flexible start times and ending by 1:30 AM.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods with frequent bending and reaching.
• Ability to lift between 50–75 lbs with or without assistance.
• Comfortable working in varying temperature conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Work Environment

The role requires working on the 2nd shift with start times that may vary, ending up to 1:30 AM. The work environment is non-climate controlled, necessitating adaptability to varying temperature conditions. Employees receive competitive pay starting at $18 per hour with a potential pay raise of $2-6 after 90 days.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ashland City, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
