Key Responsibilities

• Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of patient care as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to Medical Surgical patients in accordance with facility standards and protocols.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using EPIC EMR.
• Float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required.
• Active Iowa RN state license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Current skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission date required.
• Supervisory reference required at time of submission.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with heparin drip administration preferred.
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR preferred.
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
