Quality Inspector II

Quality Control InspectorIn this role, you have the opportunity to help ensure the quality of our products meets the requirements of the aerospace industry. Job Responsibilities include performing inspection of product/subassemblies to requirements as specified in documentation during incoming, in-process, and final inspection. You will also perform inspection of PCBA, fabricated mechanical parts, and cables, including but not limited to visual and dimensional inspection. Additionally, you will enter inspection results into the manufacturing execution system and generate non-conforming material records in our Manufacturing Execution System. You will assist with first article inspections to support component/part qualification, read and interpret standard specifications and part prints, and perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned. You will comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations, monitor critical equipment and instrumentation, follow and enforce FOD, ESD, and Calibration protocols, and communicate quality-related issues and escalate problems for resolution as needed. You will also perform a variety of Quality Assurance related tasks in support of engineering and operations and submit source request and host source Inspectors.Required Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent and typically requires 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing Quality Control environment as an inspector. You must be detail-oriented, have good organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time, ability to work OT as needed, knowledge of IPC-A-610 industry standards, and basic knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook are also required.Preferred Qualifications include basic knowledge of PCBA inspection standards; IPC-A-610 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain), familiarity with cable inspection practices; IPC-A-620 knowledge a plus, and experience working in an ISO-9001 and/or AS9100 Quality System environment preferred.This position requires you to access information that is subject to U.S. export regulations.
