Capacity Management RN - Patient Placement - P/T with Benefits Nights

About This Role The Capacity Management RN is responsible for coordinating patient placement, access case management, and patient flow to ensure effective and efficient patient care. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who excel in communication and problem-solving. Highlights Pay: $68,165/year Location: Hackensack, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Part-time, Night shift What You'll Do Coordinate the placement of elective and emergent admissions and transfers. Ensure patients are admitted or transferred to the most appropriate available bed. Communicate and implement the Capacity Management plan for the day. Review patient conditions for appropriate placement. Track bed availability and maintain logs/records. Conduct walking rounds on nursing units to identify discharge barriers. Monitor bed availability and pending discharges. Act as a resource for patient placement staff regarding unit capabilities. Make recommendations for unit closures or downsizing. Facilitate transfers and manage patient flow in the ETC.
