Job Information Position: Library and Digital Support Technician Location: Pleasant View Middle School Work Year: 155 Days, 151 Student Contact Days Salary Range: $17.51-$47.09 per hour ($17.51-$27.49 depending on certification, education, and experience for external candidates) FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt (Classified) Job Summary The main objective of this position is to support teachers in instruction of students by providing materials and resources, enriching the library environment, and assisting staff and students in accessing information as a lifelong skill. Job Description Support teachers by providing books, digital resources and instructional materials to improve student learning. Work with students to identify and locate information. Maintain library catalog, arrange and tag library materials, manage user accounts in the digital library system. Assist staff in library instruction, lesson planning, and technology integration. Keep the library environment clean, organized, and welcoming. Qualifications Required: High‑school diploma or GED. Required: 30 semester hours of library study and willingness to obtain Librarian Technician Certification within 5 years of hire. Preferred: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
