TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery environments. License: Must have an active compact license. Certifications: Required: BLS, NRP. Preferred: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate. Must-Have: Candidates must possess current supervisory references. Candidates must pass a clinical review. Candidates must circulate and provide newborn care, including assessments and necessary injections. Description: This position requires working in a high-risk, high-volume labor and delivery unit. The average daily census is 15 patients with approximately 500-600 deliveries per month. Candidates must have experience in high acuity and fast-paced environments. Preferred candidates will have significant experience with high-risk obstetrics. Candidates who have not worked in a similar setting for three months or more may be considered for travel contracts. Candidates are expected to work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Float requirements include post-partum and antepartum units. Experience with electronic fetal monitoring is necessary. New hires will be required to adhere to established staffing guidelines. Special procedures include functioning in the role of baby nurse during deliveries. Candidates must provide care of newborns until transfer to post-partum. Candidates should possess skills in neonatal resuscitation, high-risk deliveries, and general obstetric care. The role may involve working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams. Candidates should be able to maintain a positive and supportive environment for patients and families.
