Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Part Time Patrol in Florence, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use sound judgment while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeWed11:00 PM - 07:00 AMThur11:00 PM - 07:00 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
- Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
