Henry Ford Medical Group is seeking a Neurosurgeon to join the Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson.  Part of the  Henry Ford Health Family (HFH -Detroit Area), this opportunity is in Jackson, Michigan. The partnership with Henry Ford Health is very exciting for Henry Ford Health - Jackson facility and our community. Opportunity:          Hospital-employed Neurosurgery opportunity with high volume and APP support         Level 2 Trauma Center         Call 1:4 / 90% outpatient 10% inpatient         Case load Adult 90% / Peds 10% / 20-25 patients a day in clinic (Avg 5 new patients)          OR block time, with state-of-the-art equipment and dedicated Neurosurgery OR team (2 days OR/3 days clinic)         Dedicated neuro-intensive care unit, stroke unit, and neurosurgical services on-site         Procedures: Spine (C,T,L) Surgeries (Fusion/Decompression) Kyphoplasty, SCS Implant, Craniectomy/Plasty, Shunt Placement         Potential -For teaching, academic appointment with Michigan State University Community:         Within 55 minutes of an International Airport         Low cost of living         County population 160,000 City of Jackson 31,347          Jackson County has 16 Public School, 16 Private Parochial Schools, along with 3 Colleges (Jackson Community and Baker) / and Spring Arbor Universities         250 Churches         500 Holes of Golf (Which several are Nationally ranked)         188 Lakes / 27 Public Parks         International Speedway, and a Jackson Symphony Orchestra

Qualifications - External

• ABNS Board Certification Neurosurgery required.
• Potential -For teaching, academic appointment with Michigan State University
