KidStrong Wilmington is looking for an exceptional full-time Sales & Member Experience Specialist to become a key part of our team. This is not a traditional front desk or receptionist role. We're looking for someone who takes ownership, genuinely connects with families, stays two steps ahead, follows through without being reminded, and takes pride in helping a busy center operate at a high level. You'll play an important role in both the member experience and growth of our center building relationships with current families, following up with prospective members, converting leads into memberships, supporting retention, solving problems, and making sure every family who walks through our doors has an exceptional experience. We're especially interested in someone looking for more than "just a job" someone who wants to become an important part of a growing business, develop professionally, and take on additional responsibility over time.

What You'll Do

Sales & Growth

• Proactively follow up with prospective families through calls and texts.
• Schedule trial classes and build rapport with families before they arrive.
• Create an exceptional trial experience and confidently ask for the sale.
• Consistently follow up with families who don't enroll immediately.
• Work toward individual and center sales/conversion goals.

Member Experience

• Welcome families with genuine enthusiasm and professionalism.
• Build relationships with our members, kids, and families.
• Learn names, celebrate milestones, and make families feel recognized and valued.
• Anticipate needs, solve problems, and look for opportunities to go above and beyond.
• Help create the positive, high-energy experience KidStrong is known for.

Center Operations

• Stay ahead of administrative tasks, member requests, and follow-ups.
• Learn and confidently use our technology and member-management systems.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, professional center.
• Support events, promotions, and special projects.
• See what needs to be done and jump in without waiting to be asked.

Schedule This is a full-time position averaging approximately 3240 hours per week. Because KidStrong serves families outside traditional work and school hours, this is not a MondayFriday, 95 position. The ideal candidate has strong availability and can work a combination of weekday mornings, afternoons/evenings, and at least one weekend day as part of their regular schedule. Typical shifts may include:

• Weekday mornings: 8:00 AM 2:00 PM
• Weekday afternoons/evenings: 2:00 PM 8:00 PM
• Weekends: 8:00 AM 2:30 PM

Schedules are provided in advance, but some flexibility to support the center when needed is important.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident talking with prospective customers and asking for the sale.
• Strong sense of ownership and personal accountability.
• Proactive, dependable, organized, and self-motivated.
• Able to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable learning new technology quickly.
• Genuinely enjoys working with children and families.

Experience in membership sales, boutique fitness, hospitality, inside sales, lead follow-up, or another high-touch customer-facing environment is strongly preferred.
