Job Description

As the Field Property Adjuster you are responsible for investigating and confirming the facts of loss for the most complex Homeowner's Claims. Determines coverage, damages and otherwise adjusts and negotiates claims within limit of authority. Responsible for creating a comprehensive estimate of damages for the most complex first party homeowner claims leading to the proper disposition. This role is utilized as peer mentor and may assign direction to more junior employees, having mastered our processes and obtained technical expertise

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Property Field Adjuster to join our team. The ideal candidate will reside in Wyoming, preferably near Laramie, Platte, Fremont or Campbell county and will play a key role in helping customers navigate the claims process with confidence and care.

In this role, you will investigate and manage moderate to complex residential property claims, as well as farm and ranch claims, through a combination of on-site inspections and virtual claim handling. The successful candidate will possess strong estimating skills, proficiency with Xactimate, and the ability to effectively manage challenging situations while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Experience handling agricultural, farm, and ranch claims is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Exhibits mastery estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on the most complex first party homeowner losses of all severities
• Builds mastered relationships with both internal and external customers
• Interprets regulatory compliance and fair claims practices
• Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents all activities in the most complex of files
• Applies mastered content in interpretations of all policy types written by the company and assists leadership in formal and ad hoc training
• Recommends process improvements

Base compensation offered for this role is:
Field Property Adjuster Cons I: $53,500.00 - 77,800.00/salary
Field Property Adjuster Cons II: $56,000.00 - 82,500.00/salary
Field Property Adjuster Sr Cons I: $65,600.00 - 98,200.00/salary
Field Property Adjuster Sr Cons II: $65,600.00 - 98,200.00/salary
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications. Total compensation for this role may include additional components, such as incentive pay (for example, commission or bonus), if applicable.
