Procurement Specialist

Washington, District of Columbia, United States Full-Time | On-site We are seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support purchasing activities, supplier management, contract administration, and cost optimization. The Procurement Specialist will work with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure that products and services are purchased efficiently and according to organizational requirements. The successful candidate will evaluate suppliers, obtain quotations, process purchase orders, monitor deliveries, and maintain accurate procurement records. Strong negotiation, organization, and analytical skills are important for this position. Key Responsibilities Manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Research and evaluate suppliers. Obtain and compare vendor quotations. Negotiate pricing and purchasing terms. Track orders and delivery schedules. Support contract management. Identify cost-saving opportunities. Ensure purchasing policies are followed. Collaborate with finance, operations, and supply chain teams. Education Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
