Automation Engineer - AI & Security Workflows

Salary: $72,000 - 93,000 per year Requirements:

• Approximately 3–4 years of relevant experience in automation, technical security operations, engineering, software development, or a related technical field
• Ability to convert manual, analyst-led processes into repeatable automated workflows
• Hands-on experience using AI or LLM tools in technical workflows, including prompt development and output validation
• Coding and scripting skills, including the ability to independently read, modify, debug, and validate code
• Experience with Swift, Perl scripting, and SQL, or transferable scripting experience and the ability to learn these tools

• Analyze manual security workflows and build automation to reduce repetitive tracking, coordination, and reporting
• Use LLMs and AI tools to turn process requirements into working automation, including developing and refining prompts
• Review, troubleshoot, and validate AI-generated code and outputs for accuracy, security, and reliability
• Write and maintain scripts using Swift, Perl, and SQL as appropriate to the environment
• Connect tools and data sources through APIs, and establish or configure Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers
