Work Environment\nAs a remote position, you will benefit from flexible working conditions while remaining integrally connected to our supportive team environment. The Blaze Health outpatient office serves as a hub for collaboration, where you can engage with fellow mental health professionals, psychiatrists, and team members committed to providing comprehensive care to our patients. A typical workweek runs from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some scheduling adjustments possible to accommodate patient needs.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Perform culturally sensitive mental health assessments to identify clients’ unique experiences and develop tailored treatment plans. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems Therapy to address mental health issues. \n
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering resilience and emotional well-being among clients. \n
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care and effective treatment implementation. \n
- Provide timely crisis intervention and support for clients during mental health emergencies, ensuring appropriate follow-up care. \n
- Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them to take an active role in their wellness journey. \n
- Maintain accurate and secure documentation of assessments and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and legal standards. \n
- Participate in case conferences and peer supervision meetings to enhance teamwork and professional development opportunities. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- A current and active license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas. \n
- In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic techniques, and cultural competence. \n
- Prior experience in delivering individual and group therapy with culturally responsive approaches. \n
- Strong crisis intervention capabilities and the ability to effectively manage high-pressure situations. \n
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, especially in building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications. \n
- Strong commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries. \n

- A minimum of two years of professional experience in a mental health counseling capacity. \n
- Demonstrated experience in working with culturally diverse populations and addressing their specific mental health needs. \n
- Experience with teletherapy services and online therapeutic tools, effectively reaching clients remotely. \n
- Engagement in ongoing professional development opportunities in cultural competency and mental health intervention strategies. \n
