Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluation and treatment to inpatients and outpatients across the lifespan, from birth through geriatric populations, including weekend rotation coverage
• Deliver specialty services such as wound care, prosthetic and orthotic clinic, geriatric clinic, spinal cord clinic, and assistive technology/adaptive equipment evaluation and treatment
• Manage and implement the Physical Therapy program, including oversight of the Durable Medical Equipment Prosthetic Orthotic Supply Program
• Assume direction and development of the physical therapy section, including continuing quality improvement, risk management, safety, and policy and procedure development
• Support Joint Commission preparation, staff education, reporting, staff meetings, and in-service activities
• Meet all requirements for credentialing to serve on the Medical Staff in accordance with Medical Staff Credentialing Core Privileges

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
• Valid, current, full, and unrestricted Physical Therapist license in any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association — must be maintained throughout employment
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Must meet all requirements for Medical Staff credentialing; all related credentialing documentation must be provided
• Fingerprinting must be submitted and cleared prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with Native American populations or in a culturally diverse healthcare setting
• Background in specialty areas such as wound care, orthotics/prosthetics, or assistive technology
• Experience in program development, quality improvement, or leadership within a therapy department
