Great Coffee. Great Food. Great Hospitality. DoubleTree by Hilton Phoenix/Mesa is looking for a friendly, energetic Barista / Server to join our Food & Beverage team! WHAT YOU'LL DO As a Barista / Server, you'll be one of the friendly faces our guests interact with throughout their day. This is a hands-on position combining barista service, food service, cashiering, and hospitality. You'll be responsible for: Preparing and serving coffee, espresso drinks, and other beverages Taking guest orders accurately and providing knowledgeable menu recommendations Serving food and beverages with friendly, attentive service Operating the POS system and accurately processing payments Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area Setting up and breaking down the outlet as needed Restocking coffee, beverages, food items, supplies, and serviceware Following proper food safety and sanitation standards Assisting with guest requests and resolving minor concerns whenever possible Working closely with the kitchen and other hotel departments Creating the warm, welcoming hospitality our guests expect from DoubleTree WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're looking for someone who: Has a positive, outgoing personality Genuinely enjoys interacting with guests Can work quickly while maintaining attention to detail Is dependable and arrives ready to work Is comfortable handling multiple responsibilities at once Takes pride in cleanliness and presentation Communicates well and works as part of a team Is willing to learn — barista or serving experience is a plus, but a great attitude is even more important! THE IDEAL CANDIDATE You understand that hospitality is about more than taking an order. You notice when a guest needs another cup of coffee, remember a returning guest’s favorite drink, keep your station looking great, and look for opportunities to make someone’s stay a little better.
