Details\n \n Work in the MS/Tele unit of a Level I Trauma Center within a short-term acute care hospital \n 13-week assignment on night shift (4x12 hours, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM) \n Team nursing model with a 1:7 patient ratio, supported by PCC and RN staff \n Weekend rotation required as needed \n On-call required as needed \n Floating may occur between like units or campuses within a 20-mile radius \n Requirements\n \n Active RN license in the state or compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licensure accepted) \n Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg-Tele experience required, 3 years preferred \n At least 1 completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers not accepted unless 3 years of recent experience \n Level I Trauma Center experience required \n Large hospital experience required \n ADN required (BSN not required for this position) \n Cerner and Epic experience preferred \n Copy of driver's license required for consideration \n Vaccination status documentation required \n Additional Information\n \n Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Med/Surg-Tele unit within a Level I Trauma Center \n Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be considered \n All requested time off must be submitted at time of consideration, as RTO will not be approved after an offer is made \n If Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all fall within the assignment, must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays; if only 2 of these holidays fall within the assignment, must work at least 1 \n Former permanent staff or travelers who completed a full-year assignment must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning \n Weekend block scheduling may be considered, though block schedules are generally not accommodated \n \n \n American Traveler Job ID P-729187.
