Life in Dulce offers a rural feel with a very affordable cost of living.RequirementsLeadership in weight reduction/exercise program as neededConduct appropriate nutritional assessment and pertinent nutritional historyDevelop care plan for patients identified as nutritional riskRecord clinical data in electronic patient's medical recordProvide nutritional consultation on phone or home visit as appropriateProvide physician referred patients with therapeutic diet counselingParticipate on multidisciplinary teams for care of patients with chronic illness as requiredProvide nutrition consultation service to community related programs that are requesting nutritional consultation as clinic schedule allowsProvide in-service training to Client staff as needed.Comply with all Client Privacy Act, HIPAA, and Ethical regulations.Submit monthly narrative reports to the Director of Public Health Nursing.QualificationsMust have a current nutrition license in the state of New Mexico.Must be registered by the American Dietetic Association as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist.Must have degree or diploma from a professional registered nutrition program approved by the legally designated State accrediting agency at the time the program was completed.Must be a Certified Diabetes Educator.Must have and maintain Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
