He/she will work with self-discipline, good judgment, and considerable independence while following established standards of practice. Day-to-day duties include quality control, quality assurance, and instrument maintenance. He/she must be proficient in assigned areas and willing to learn new technology. Employment Type Full Time, Part Time Location Orange City Area Health System Main Campus 1000 Lincoln Circle SE Orange City, IA 51041 Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science or equivalent. Education must meet the requirements defined by CLIA. MLS(ASCP) or MLT(ASCP) certification preferred. Job Schedule 3 - 5 days/week: Monday – Friday. Starting time between 6 AM –9 PM with Rotating shifts. Includes weekends and call rotation shared with 10 other techs. On-call room available in hospital for overnight stays.
