Position Summary:

The NetSuite Systems & Finance Applications Manager is responsible for the governance, administration, and continuous improvement of AMPERA’s NetSuite environment and related financial systems. This role serves as the primary point of contact for NetSuite system management, user access controls, process documentation, and system enhancements, ensuring strong internal controls, data integrity, and operational efficiency.

The position oversees onboarding and offboarding system access, user security profiles, segregation of duties compliance, privileged access reviews, and SOX-related system testing requirements. This individual partners closely with Finance, HR, IT, and external vendors to support system integrations, troubleshoot issues, manage release updates, and implement configuration enhancements that support a scalable, best-in-class finance function.

Additionally, this role maintains governance over Oracle NetSuite licensing, support tickets, and subscription management, while proactively identifying opportunities to leverage new functionality and best practices to keep AMPERA at the forefront of financial systems excellence.

Position Responsibilities:

Establish onboarding and off boarding process and procedures to create User ID and profiles as people join and leave the company

Manage employee masters, PO approvers, security profiles and segregation of duty checks. Created documented procedures and follow them. Interact with partner functions as necessary (HR)

Design & update Sharepoint Intranet site for finance related processes, scheduled down times, upgrades, etc.

Provide privileged access reviews monthly to ensure privileged IDs are not misused. Identify users with privileged access for review and approval quarterly. User access review annually

Be focal point to Netsuite on entering and managing open support tickets

Work with IT and Netsuite to enable single sign on password and authentication management

Liase with third party contractor to do configuration requirements and enhancements for us that need external support (create new company codes, plants, enable T&E reporting, etc)

Review Netsuite release notes, evaluate testing requirements.

Evaluate Netsuite release notes for opportunities in new functionality to keep Ampera on leading edge

Network with the Netsuite users on best practices used for most effective processes and a world class finance function

Troubleshoot when integrations don’t work (eg bank files, eventually payroll interface). Coordinate with IT as required

Define SOX testing requirements related to SDLC and ensure the tests are performed prior to moving stuff to production

Manage Ampera’s license with Oracle for Netsuite subscription and training site

Experience & education:

Accounting or Finance degree required, advanced degree or certification a plus

Being able to work well in a cross functional team setting

Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization

Knowledge and experience with Netsuite a plus

Knowledge of Agile project management methodology a plus
