Senior Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Designer based in United States.

This role is designed for an experienced digital designer ready to take ownership of visual direction and creative execution.
You will lead design tracks independently, translating complex briefs and user needs into cohesive, high-quality visual systems.
Working closely with Creative, Production, and Technology teams, you will shape experiences from early concepts through final delivery.
The role combines strategic thinking, visual craft, interaction design, animation, and contemporary 2D and 3D communication.
You will research project domains, brands, and audiences to establish thoughtful visual directions that solve real user challenges.
You will also contribute to the growth of the wider design team through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem solving.
This is a remote opportunity open across North and Latin America, with a preference for candidates who can work effectively within EST-friendly hours.

Accountabilities:

• Lead design tracks with a high degree of independence, working closely with Creative Directors while taking primary ownership of visual craft and quality.
• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with multidisciplinary project teams and translate them into effective creative approaches.
• Develop concepts individually and collaboratively, exploring multiple creative directions and refining ideas into cohesive experiences.
• Communicate design thinking through storyboards, process flows, sitemaps, static concepts, animated presentations, and other visual formats.
• Demonstrate strong understanding of 2D and 3D visual communication when developing conceptual and experiential work.
• Identify creative solutions to user challenges such as usability, navigation, findability, and overall experience quality.
• Design and mock up digital experiences according to high industry standards, maintaining a strong eye for visual detail and contemporary aesthetics.
• Lead the look and feel of experiences from research and initial exploration through final delivery.
• Animate concepts, layouts, and user interfaces while applying strong taste and judgment to motion and interaction.
• Use animation and visual tools to create special effects, 2D assets, and immersive digital experiences.
• Integrate AI-driven tools into creative workflows to enhance ideation, production, experimentation, and efficiency.
• Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to junior and fellow designers, helping strengthen design and animation practices across the team.
• Communicate project status, progress, risks, and dependencies regularly with Producers and broader project teams.
• Collaborate within small-to-medium-sized multidisciplinary teams to resolve creative, technical, and delivery challenges.
• Participate in knowledge-sharing and lessons-learned sessions to continuously improve project practices and creative outcomes.
• Maintain consistently high standards from conceptual development through final delivery, ensuring work feels cohesive, intentional, and confidently designed.

Requirements

• Experienced digital design practitioner with a track record of moving beyond execution into project ownership and creative influence.
• Strong ability to independently lead visual design tracks while collaborating effectively with Creative Directors and multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated experience translating complex briefs, user requirements, and research into compelling visual systems and digital experiences.
• Strong visual design craft with a contemporary aesthetic and high attention to detail.
• Experience developing both static and animated concepts and communicating ideas through storyboards, process flows, sitemaps, and other visual storytelling methods.
• Strong understanding of 2D visual communication and working knowledge of 3D visual communication and immersive experiences.
• Experience with animation and motion design tools for interfaces, visual effects, assets, and interactive experiences.
• Ability to research a project domain, brand, and client context and use those insights to inform the look and feel of an experience.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to creatively address usability, findability, and other user challenges.
• Ability to incorporate AI-driven tools into creative workflows and use emerging technology thoughtfully.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside Creative, Production, and Technology teams.
• Experience mentoring or providing constructive guidance to junior designers and peers is valuable.
• Ability to manage priorities independently, communicate progress clearly, and contribute positively in a collaborative environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, visual craft, interaction, motion, and high-quality digital experiences is expected.
