About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN license required Certifications: BLS required; Telemetry experience preferred Must-Have: - Med/Surg experience Description: The position involves working in a Med Surg unit. The unit has 21 beds and a staff of 15 RNs and 3 techs. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 5:1. The night shift consists of 1 charge nurse and 1 RN, with occasional tech support. The types of procedures performed include high orthopedic cases such as backs, hips, knees, shoulders, and ENT. Strong communication skills are essential. Candidates should demonstrate good energy and the ability to handle stress effectively. No call requirements are associated with this position. Weekend shifts will be rotated. Required certifications include BLS and an active RN license. Telemetry experience is preferred but not mandatory.
