Are you ready to serve and protect a vibrant growing community The City of South Jordan is seeking a Full-Time Police Officer to join the South Jordan Police Department.
What Youll Do:
- Patrol all areas of South Jordan to deter crime and assist the public.
- Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls secure crime scenes conduct investigations and make arrests when laws are violated.
- Enforce traffic laws conduct DUI and accident investigations and assist motorists.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports and testify in court when required.
- Serve legal documents and maintain records of legal dispositions.
- Maintain issued equipment including firearms and patrol vehicles.
- Represent the department positively through ongoing community policing efforts.
Who You Are:
- High school graduate or equivalent (GED).
- Valid Utah Class D driver license.
- Skilled in handling high-pressure situations with integrity professionalism and sound judgment.
- Strong communicator with a commitment to responsible service.
