Job Description

The Labor and Delivery RN will provide direct patient care in the Maternal Infant Unit, focusing on labor and delivery, as well as postpartum and nursery care. Responsibilities include managing labor, assisting with deliveries, and caring for both mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vaginal deliveries and assist with C-sections.
• Provide antepartum care and support for new mothers.
• Monitor patients with GE fetal monitors.
• Utilize EMR Meditech and CPN for patient documentation.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience, with a preference for those with 2+ years in LDRP with high birth volumes.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Certification.
