Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute inpatient experience required

License: New Mexico license can pend at the time of submission

Certifications: BLS required

Must-Have: COVID vaccination required - religious and medical exemptions accepted

Description: The role requires working with a diverse patient population including adults, adolescents, and geriatrics. The focus is on total joint replacements with same-day discharge for appropriate patients. Typical diagnoses include but are not limited to falls, CVA, trauma, pneumonia, withdrawal, orthopedic surgeries, respiratory and kidney failures, and wounds. The clinician will manage a caseload of approximately 8 patients daily. Weekend shifts are required, with 2 weekends per month expected. Floating to meet facility needs is not required. Unfortunately, no local candidates within a 100-mile radius will be considered. The workplace environment includes interdisciplinary support, with services such as physical therapy, respiratory care, radiology, and social services. Communication and patient education are critical components of this role. Specific skills needed include acute care, outpatient clinic experience, and various post-operative and cognitive rehabilitation skills. Modules and compliance requirements must be completed within designated timelines.
