The successful candidate will be tasked with the strategic management of organizational financial risk, with a focus on balance sheet strategy, interest rate risk, liquidity management, investment activities, and overall financial performance. This leadership role is pivotal in partnering with Executive Management and the Board of Directors to ensure sound financial decision-making, planning, and long-term success. Key responsibilities include employing balance sheet management strategies, evaluating and recommending financial performance improvement strategies, developing cash flow forecasts, managing the investment portfolio, providing financial guidance, leading the budgeting process, and overseeing the Finance Team's daily operations. Applicants for the Vice President of Finance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with an MBA being preferred. A minimum of 5-8 years' progressive experience in Asset Liability Management and 8-10 years' of related financial leadership experience within a financial institution environment is required. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of balance sheet management, liquidity management, investment portfolio strategy, and financial reporting, as well as a proven track record of effectively communicating complex financial concepts. The role also involves leading the team in pricing strategies for financial products and services, so experience in this area is beneficial.
